John Deer Enters The Pickup Truck Market

They are doing shoes and boots too with a partnership with Sketchers.

These should be at least double the MSRP. :ROFLMAO:

I see these going on Ebay in about ten years. "Still in box."

Years ago I worked for a truck leasing company. One of our customers had the contract to deliver John Deere parts from the main warehouse to the dealerships. At the time, most of our rental/lease fleet was International Harvester trucks. This customer refused to use them as they were the competition. So we bought six new GMC trucks for them to use.

My father worked at the International Harvester foundry in Memphis for 33 years. While growing up, John Deere were dirty words in my house. Never to be mentioned.

That’s pretty cool but that’s a steep price tag. Don’t laugh. Michelin at one time was doing something with “safety” boots. They were pretty comfortable and held up to extremely high heat on the soles (steel mill) from what I recall.

Let’s see how this works out for the iconic farm tractor maker.

Ok after a little more research the bottom line is this is happening however with a price tag of $250,000 the market is saturated with trucks that will do same type of work for a LOT less.
It’s not happening; no words at all on this from JD, and I guaran-freaking-tee you, the promo “sneak preview” model would NOT be red.

Additionally, the logo on the faceplate is NOT the JD leaping deer…it’s been modified just enough to keep whoever made this from getting sued into oblivion for copyright infringement.
