I read an article in American Cinematographer about this. The Yeet cannons were cerakoted in Chroma Key Green and had a ping pong ball attached to the end of the slides so they could match the motion and replace the guns in post. They were going to use @BET7 for motion capture but Andy Serkis/Gollum from Lord of the Rings fame was cheaper.Plus all the gun play was done by @10mmLife using yeet cannons, but edited with CGI to show other weapons……

I watched JW3 last night again. Hans and a few others thought it didn't reach the level of 1 and 2, but I thought it was great. Better than 2, but not quite as good as 1. And the way it ended insures that JW4 is going to be epic.

There's a pretty cool vid somewhere on YT about the amount of time and bonding she spent with those Belgians in order to work with them in the film. Good stuff.
