As far as I know North never misappropriated funds for his personal use. In fact without the benefit of hindsight, at the time I wasn’t necessarily against funding the contras. Seemed to me we were selling weapons to Iran either way, might as well not let commies into our back yard.

Has anyone else found it a funny coincidence that the amount they determined WLP pay back is just under what that new 6 million dollar house he has in Dallas (presumably he doesn’t have a mortgage on it)?
I’m sort of surprised his part wasn’t higher but what’s not been mentioned unless I missed it is how much was his minions also named on the hook for?
As Buz Mills said Ms James did us all a favor she got rid of our problem and thankfully the Judge didn’t allow her to resolve the whole organization just the toxic leader and friends.
My hope is it can get back to a reputable organization
