As your gun collection grows, it becomes more and more important to document what you have and its value for insurance and inheritance.

I am terrible at this I don’t even add the serial numbers but I do have them logged on my phone notes that’s it

i keep a simple 3 ring binder.

gun, serial number, date of purchase, gun dealer, price including taxes, and date out into service.

that's all on the first page.

next pages after that, date of range trip, how many rounds either reloads or new, maintenance such as cleaning/lubing, and any parts replacements if needed.

easy peasy, no apps no chance for someone to hack.

I guess I assumed (I know, I know) everyone has done similar to myself, which is to have at least two complete, pertinent lists, secured in separate locations. Never would I have such a list on my cellphone.

Besides keeping a spreadsheet I use the SA App locker for my SA inventory. Also, being that we in California have to register everything we have CFARs which tracks everything.

100% I don’t keep any electronic stuff either, just the pics….don’t think an app on your phone is secure at all.

that's right...no one can hack a book, hell if anyone were to burglarize a house, they wouldn't take a book anyways, ..........they can't read...

what's not "in the cloud" cannot be hacked.
