Kinda leaning S&W

Well I thought I never brag about been a fanboy again but I do have a confession (I thought been a Glock fanboy was rough). I picked up a S&W M&P 9 M2.0 Compact the other day (after my 72 hour Illinois cool off period).

I don't have the 2.0 version or the compact 9, but do have a full size 1.0 which is great. Nice decision on the m/p! S/W's are my favorites as I'm getting closer to owning more than my glocks (7 of each as of today). The optic thing is a wash when it comes to deciding whether too or not. Those that don't have an optic cut makes decisions easy. What i don't like is the suppressor height sights. The triggers are gtg in my book even though i have changed some out to Timney's. 1 day I'll have too try other brands?

M/P list

9mm 1.0 4 25 core and a 5" core slide
2.0 in the following
5.7x28
9mm 4.25 gold cerakoted from factory
40s&w converted to 357sig
10mm 4" (s/w labeled as compact)
10mm 5.6 pc
45acp 5.31 threaded factory production

Other s/w wants are
40s&w metal
10mm 4.6
&
Possibly some other m/p's

Nice pick up. I wouldn’t consider myself a fanboy but i have the m&p9, 45 and shield plus. I like the way they fit my hand. They shoot just fine for their intended purpose. Your’s has the upgraded trigger, which i have on the shield plus. Decent trigger. I swapped the hinge triggers on the 9 and 45 for Apex triggers. The m&p is a solid line. I’m considering the 3.6” subcompact.
Let us know how she shoots!

I’ll definitely let you know how it goes. I know the 10MM was a little rough for a little bit but now works a lot better and settled in.

I’ll admit that I wouldn’t mind a few more of the M&P line up like the .40 S&W (which I have in SD).

The suppressor sights are a tad high without the dot attached (but great when dot a dump at the range).

I have the 3.6 model and carrying today. I shoot the 17 round magazine extremely well but generally carry the 15 with the sleeve added. My polymer guns are S&W (except 2) and have had 0 complaints.
