I have the same one with an 8 3/8" barrel. Or I did until the horrible boating tragedy.
Killed an awful lot of deer with that gun. No scope. I don't do scopes on handguns.
This is me about 20 years ago. It was a month or so before the 2000 election. You can see the Bush/Cheney sticker on my bumper.I normally don't pose with meat I kill but this one was one was my first with this gun and was around 90 yards.

S&W 66-2 - my first handgun bought in 1985 when I turned 21. Still have it and original grips.
Ruger SP101 - wanted this one since it was introduced in 1989. Finally bought one about 6 yrs ago when I got back into shooting after several yrs not.
S&W 63-5 - 22LR - bought a few yrs ago after having reliability issues with a couple 22 autos I had (and have since gotten rid of). Bought as a teaching gun if I'm shooting with new shooters and a gun for budget shooting - at the time, if ammo ever got high or scarce. Looking back - great choice.

1952 Colt 4" Official Police .38. Numbers matching frame and cylinder.
It was a gift from my uncle (FBI), to my father before he shipped out to Korea. Dad (Cdr.USN-Ret) carried it, in this holster, as his personal backup. The holster was originally brown leather, but the Marines stole it one night and dyed it black "so it didn't get any of them killed".
Dad's monogrammed (real ivory) grips came from here, when he was on shore leave:

This is my Ruger “three screw” Blackhawk. It is in original condition so for safety reasons the hammer must rest on an empty chamber when carrying. When practicing at the gun range I do load all six chambers. I love the look of this revolver but it is not my favorite to shoot.

I see you also picked up the 22 Mag WMR cylinder. That was an optional addition that didn’t come with the separate revolver purchase, correct? Or did both cylinders come with the revolver as a single purchase? Nice pickup 10.
