I still don't understand why I would want or need to have this configuration.
To give you the best options possible because of tyrannical lawsI still don't understand why I would want or need to have this configuration.
That's the exact feature I'm most excited about. So…this, in .300AAC & suppressed…or even with a .22LR conversion & supressed…is gonna be super quiet, but offer fast follow ups if needed.
I do like the beauty of wood, but sometimes I don't like the weight. Not everything is a benchrest shot. The 1895's in 45-70 feel like balsa wood as they're light weight.I don't know, I guess I'm one of those "old timer curmudgeons" 10mmLife mentioned (pretty sure of it actually), ...... I'm sure it's quite functional and probably will be well received by all you young'uns, but I got to have me some pretty wood like hand rubbed American Walnut, and dark, deep blued steel that looks like you could stick your finger in it, maybe occasionally a little stainless or nickle on hand guns, but:
I just can't understand how all y'all fall so short in appreciating the really nice and purty guns..... it must have been something in the water over the past couple generations. Lord .... help us!!!
I'll be 34 in a couple months (to the day actually!) and I like modern guns. They have a place.. as a tool. I LOVE old-school guns, old west in particular. The rifles especiallyI don't know, I guess I'm one of those "old timer curmudgeons" 10mmLife mentioned (pretty sure of it actually), ...... Probably appropriate in those States that severely restrict firearms ownership. Here's a cool new rifle that I'd like to get my hands on. It's a lever action rifle based on the AR platform. I can see the awesome potential of having multiple calibers available in a lever gun with just a simple upper swap.
I'm sure the some old timer curmudgeon's will pop pop this rifle as it goes against what they traditionally know as a lever gun but times change and technology changes with it.
What's everyone else's thoughts?
Also I'm just poking fun at some of the curmudgeon's here and I meant no harm with my comment, so stay salty my friends....
To Wannbewoodsman, 10mmLife, and others ........ I also have an appreciation for the more modern stuff, it just ain't quite as pretty to me as the more traditional stuff. But that comes with age I'm pretty sure.
When I speak of young'uns, I'm usually referring to those less than 1/2 my age. And I'm pretty sure both you guys fit in that group. Now that's not a bad thing, and I meant no offense to anyone. We all come n go and find our likes/dislikes as we make the journey. It's just too bad some of your likes are those danged ugly, modern firearms.
Yeh, I'm just kidd'n again .................. peace y'all!
This maybe even okay in the people's republic of Massachusetts where any variation of AR15 is considered verboten.Probably appropriate in those States that severely restrict firearms ownership.
Well, there's that deadly tactical handguard so MASS will likely ban that firearm because of that. This maybe even okay in the people's republic of Massachusetts where any variation of AR15 is considered verboten.
Well, there is that ...... and the fact it's so damned ugly!!!!............................. OK, OK, I'll stop!Well, there's that deadly tactical handguard so MASS will likely ban that firearm because of that.
Surprisingly you are allowed to have any handguard type in Massachusetts though putting a pistol grip on a rifle triggers a bunch of draconian laws. No threaded barrels, flash hiders or collapsible stocks. Muzzle brakes and compensators are ok but they need to be pinned and welded. This being a non-semi auto you could use a collapsible stock and install a pistol grip.Well, there's that deadly tactical handguard so MASS will likely ban that firearm because of that.
Everyone knows the handguard adds 25 more units of pewpewWell, there's that deadly tactical handguard so MASS will likely ban that firearm because of that.
