Sadly, no........

Personally, just getting back to normal life again, not having to worry about family, friends, going shopping without having bare shelves, finding TOILET PAPER......just getting back to what it was before all this virus crap started, sad part of this situation is all the people we lost, family, friends and and others we never met, life is short, enjoy it while you can.
I agree with Anni, just getting back to a more normal return of life and hoping those I know that have tested positive for this virus, recover. As he said, life’s short and enjoying it while we’re here is important.
For me, that’s buying more firearm. So that 10mm will have no chance of ever catching up to my collection totals. :devilish:

What's the first thing you'll order?

I'm actually waiting for this Japanese steak house near me to open back up. They have wicked good hibachi steak.

8 oz. Sirloin with potatos and (Fresh) green beans. Double Beefeaters martini, stirred not shaken.

My band used to be the house band at a bar she owned a couple towns over. We always get excellent service and I always tip very well.

I'm lucky in that my day job is 'essential', so I've been working through this. Income sucks because business has plummeted...but any income is better than unemployment.

When this clears, MY job comes back online - live audio production. Concerts. Bands. Weddings. Festivals. Bar gigs. I've been making sure all my gear is up to snuff, fixing the cables that have been mocking me from the "FIX" hook in the shop, dialing in settings and making sure all the software is updated, and brushing up on contract verbiage so when people can finally go out again, and the venues start booking again...my calendar (and wallet) can fill up again. I already had more work than I could handle, and more bands wanting me to do their production work for them than I could possibly do - this could be the game-changer that allows me to take this from "hobby that makes some money" to "full time gig". I'm ready to come out of the gate hard, and so are my bands. We're hungry, and we miss doing shows - we're gonna overbook ourselves, I can see it now. And, I love it.

Also, hopefully a house sells that I put on the market March 1.

And the day job picks back up.

Those two will allow me the income to finally install an automotive lift in the garage, and finish my '72 Satellite station wagon project (1972 Satellite wagon meets 2005 Gen III 5.7 Hemi). And rebuild the numbers-match engine for my 89 Shelby. And finish a couple motorcycle restorations that have been sneering at me from the corner of the shop for a few years.

Not to mention a bigger gun safe...and toys to fill it with :) Although...thanks to the People's Republik of Maryland...I have to pace myself, I'm only "allowed" one handgun every six months (or is it twelve?). Unless I declare "collector" status - I'll have to look into the liabilities of that.

Mainly, though? I'm looking forward to some semblance of normalcy. Scared people **** me off. People who are scared because they're uninformed? **** me off even more, because they expect you to be just as scared as they are...just....because.

But, I do love my commute these days...I'll miss that. 33 minutes down to 19. Noice.

I’ll just be happy to have my company and my job survive this crisis. Our customers are not paying their bills to us, so we are having to be creative to make payroll, including across the board salary cuts. A cut Is better than being unemployed without insurance right now.

It really is a tough time right now but hopefully this will be over soon and life will be back to normal along with your pay rate.
