I also owned a 9mm Taurus 1911 quite a while ago. Besides being slightly ammunition sensitive, it ran like a scalded cat. I enjoyed the pistol. I sold it to a friend, as his introduction to 1911s.

I have never had a problem with Taurus, but I have never owned one of their Semi Autos, this one all that remains of Taurus is the frame,I have never had a 1911 that has had this much done to it,,someone liked it enough to make all the changes to it, I would say they have spent around $1000 on it,,,,,, so why are they dumping it, ,,,,,,,, if the mags were McCormicks or all Wilson I would have taken the chance and already bought it,,,,,,,,,, as it is I watch, they dropped the price once, I want to see if they drop it again
