not yet. i may be able to get a pic of it for you later this eve. do you know where i can find a schematic diagram of this gun on the internet? then i could find the screw nameGot a pic of it?
ok thanks a milGet ahold of Xdman or Mike H on this forum, both are associated with Springfield. I’ll look for a diagram
They do have a set screw for the trigger guard and that's probably what it is.Are they using an Allen screw to secure the trigger guard?
That’s the only thing I can think of...
i didnt back it all the way out. i noticed it two weeks ago now. im getting a picture of it later this eve so i can figure it out.The only screw I can think of would be the tension screw under the grip that is used to tighten the upper and lower receiver if there's any wobble. Aero Precision lowers use this same feature. Is there nylon on the end of the screw?
it is the screw directly above the triggerIf it's not what @HansGruber has already mentioned then the only other screw I can think of would be the tension screw under the grip that is used to tighten the upper and lower receiver if there's any wobble. Aero Precision lowers use this same feature.
Is there nylon on the end of the screw?
This screw is accessible under the pistol grip and you may need to remove the grip to access. Be careful if you remove the pistol grip because the safety selector spring and detent is under pressure and its best to do this with the receiver upside down while keeping pressure on the grip. When the grip screw is removed lift very slowly or you may lose the small spring from your safety selector.
I was actually working on putting together another Aero lower today.

Mine are pins not screws. That screw holds the trigger assembly in. Do you still have it?
