Mag release stuck

Yeah, I heard California wanted fixed 10 round mags for the AR's, I guess this was their solution. That's crazy 🥴:poop:. It almost like they want you to become a criminal and get your AR in Arizona or Nevada and sneak it back in. Who says crime doesn't pay :rolleyes:
 
So according to xdman this is a California compliant gun so it looks to me that you need to push in the bolt release to drop the magazine. This requires two hands to slow down your ability to load quickly.
Please correct me if I’m wrong.
