Mags for Turkish Pistols

I used the fact that I've had much more luck finding .380 ACP ammo than 9mm recently to justify a new gun purchase. I ordered a Tisas Fatih .380, which is a licensed clone of the Beretta 84/Cheetah. The gun will accept the Beretta mags, but the ones included with the Tisas have a pinky extension that isn't available on the Beretta mags. I contacted the importer (SDS), but they stated that they don't sell extra magazines at this time. Have any of you found any sources for Tisas mags, or mags for other Turkish imports?

My Fatih runs Beretta 84 mags made by both Mec-Gar and ProMag. I highly recommend going with the Mec-Gar mags, but the ProMags will work if they are all that you can find. I believe the factory mags that come with the Fatih are made by Mec-Gar.
 
It took me nine months to acquire eight extra mags for my Canik sfx. I had to pay a premium for a couple on gb.
 
How are you folks able to run Beretta mags in your Fatih? My Fatih will not run them. They won't insert the last half inch or so. I can't figure out why, because they appear to be virtually identical to the Fatih Mags. Any ideas?

I'd have to know a little more about the particular mags your using. The mags that work in my Fatih are after-market magazines made by Mec-Gar for the Beretta 84/Cheetah. I don't know if the Mec-Gar mags are exact copies of Beretta factory mags. The exact info for my mags, according to the Mec-Gar website are:

SKU (Blued) : MGPB8413B — UPC: 765595440265

SKU (Nickel) : MGPB8413N — UPC: 765595440609

I hope this is helpful. Beretta made several versions of the .380 Cheetah (models 83, 84, 85, and 86), and had several other model numbers for the .32 ACP and .22LR models.
 
i had a great Canik METE SFx, that i had to dump. my state (for the time being) is going round limited mags, to 10 rounds...

for every other gun that i have, Beretta, Girsan, Glock, CZ, i can get all the 10 round mags i want.

but Canik..??

it was cheaper in the end, to dump the Canik (and i really miss that gun now), then to go with the aggravation of being arrested as a felon for having mags of more than 10 rounds.

several lawyers, who are "gun people", have petitioned the court i thought it was the US supreme court, but i thin it is a "circuit court" to get that ban removed, as it does not allow, grandfathering what we already own, plus it's against(??) the 2nd Amend.
