Making shot

I've been researching for awhile now on how to make small shot such as #4,5 and 6 bird shot. I've come across shot makers that would cost around $500 and others nearly free or low cost. I've also come across old methods made new again.

A few 18th century methods I've found

Right, but l don't think my town would allow me to use the old tower to make shot. I also don't think I'd be allowed to legally build such a tower.

Looking at pictures 1 and 3 you see tools and the method any man can do at home providing he has the necessary space.

I was gonna say find an abandoned grain silo.

That's the way Remington does it, that plant is not far from me and i have been on a tour through it. that tall tower is where they make the shot.
