but its real
you get a LETTER in the mail with something shiny and attracts your attention( could be anything), and a QR code..if you scan the QR it steals your data on the phone...
word to the wise, dont scan any more QR codes from unsolicited snail mail

well, i am among the lucky few, that my flip phone and the wife's cannot scan QR codes.

Better yet, do not do anything with any unsolicited correspondence. If indeed it is something you think think is legit and wish to explore further do your own searching and find the legitimate websites, address etc and make contact thru there.
