MARINE CORP OPERATOR

I think they still do at least one is up on the website:

Granted CA compliant so might not be the version you want. I don’t know the differences.

Outside of aesthetics and grip, not entirely sure what’s the difference between this and the operator.
CA compliant means it has the loaded chamber cutout, and a lightweight (titanium) firing pin.

Neither us a reason not to get it, imho

When will you guys start making the 1911 Operator Marine Corp edition again? I personally know of about 40 people who would buy one at any price. One just sold for $2100 on gun broker. There clearly is a need for this product and the profit margins have gone up since discontinuing.
Agreed. I just joined this chat to find out if this is still made or discontinued. The site has 2 different posting one says discontinued the other is posted by someone in this thread. Does anyone know if reps from Springfield reply’s on this site????

Don't believe I have ever seen one..

Your best option is to call customer service, email is not a reliable option as I understand.

Mod here. I’d suggest you call customer service. And get your info straight from the horses mouth.

Springfield Armory’s customer service representatives can answer your questions/concerns Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30 CST via phone at 1-800-680-6866, International: +1-309-944-5631 or email at sales@springfield-armory.com

Hey all, I bought a Springfield Loaded Marine Corps operator for three reasons:
1. I am nostalgic for 1911's, because thats what I carried throughout my Marine Corps career. My duty pistol was so loose I could only qualify as Sharpshooter. Missed Expert by a few rounds
2. Who doesn't love an OD Green pistol?
3. The name says Marine Corps Operator, how could I not?

After buying it (recently) and running a few hundred rounds, I can say that I absolutely love this pistol. Wish I could qualify again in the Marine Corps, but they switched to Berettas in 1987 (I have one of those too). I guess I'll just have to sign up for some competitions.

See you out there!
