Intended to ask this last night but got distracted ................

Just how in the world did a 13 month old puppy pick his own name? Inquiring and intelligent minds want to know !!!

(y)(y)(y) And I do too! ;)
If I said month I misspoke. I meant week but I just said "What about Bubba?" To my girlfriend and she said "I kinda like that."

Looked at him, said it and he perked his head and licked her face. She took that as a yes

Bubba at home having fun. He is very well loved. Figured out the stairs both directions today. Loves his squeaky toys. Starting to feel a little big for his britches and barking at the older dogs. He's VERY loved

No Wannabe, you didn't say it wrong, you said he was 13 weeks. For some reason I came up with the 13 months...... duhh!

And in this shot it's pretty clear he has some Scott in him. Just look at all those little wrinkles.!!! Yeh, he's a bulldog alright !!! And with a name of 'Bubba'. What the hell is this world coming to? LOL!

"And with a name of 'Bubba'. What the hell is this world coming to? LOL!" - Never know sometimes? Next one maybe named Bubbette? :)

Or tear up your couch while you're a work...like mine did today. Wasn't Bubba because he's kenneled

Yah, sounds like someone maybe a bit jealous? It happens. Always treat them the same and give all the same attention at same time, can be a handful sometimes, but worth it. Animal proofing isn't always easy. A crate while at work a few times may work too? Maybe suggest a concrete couch? :)

Congrats. My wife and I have 2 German Shepherds 1 of which is also a rescue. Total unconditional love. They don't care how you're dressed where you live or what you drive. 30 years of being a Policeman now and with that much time on as of late I seem to love my dogos more than most people. Best of Luck and again congrats.

I know one of them has some pretty severe separation anxiety. Not sure why. We got her when she was young (6 or 8 weeks) and her baby (biological baby. The big boy in one of my photos) learned it from her.
