Meh. The allure of ACOGs and Mepros is usually not having to fiddle with batteries. I wouldn't buy the M22 and then convert it to battery use. BUIS is good enough for me and might work better in low light where illuminated reticle can occlude PID.

I really like the ACOGs we were issued. I was glad I didn’t have to worry about batteries for it. I already had enough stuff mounted on my M4 that used batteries

Exactly. I didn't even get the stock with the tubes in it. I also keep my lpvo at 4x
. Just an old dog I guess.
