Mepro M22 Light Module Kit Review

Meh. The allure of ACOGs and Mepros is usually not having to fiddle with batteries. I wouldn't buy the M22 and then convert it to battery use. BUIS is good enough for me and might work better in low light where illuminated reticle can occlude PID.

I really like the ACOGs we were issued. I was glad I didn’t have to worry about batteries for it. I already had enough stuff mounted on my M4 that used batteries

The sight is small and light but it definitely needs the battery LED backup to take care of the washout problem. The Light Module kit works perfectly and has the auto off feature. It is $125. If you want to save a little money there is another product that costs just $36.95. The REM 22. You do have to send in your left side plate so they can install the LED/Rhoestat to that panel and send it back to you. It has 11 brightness settings and works great.
