Michigan Democrats push for gun magazine capacity limits

Don't know what states you folks live in........
With so many Fed laws usurping states rights......
But if you think or feel your state is more free while the rest of the Nation is losing rights (Freedom) then OK.
I just don't see it.
Perhaps if someone could enumerate the fantastic freedoms of your state I'd move there.

It’s been done here many times. Use the search feature. Or Google history of right to carry in Missouri then look at the political make up of our legislature over the last 40 years.

Part of the problem is the movement of blue folks to red states because they often bring their politics with them. Another problem is that some areas just get too crowded with folks period. You know, they just get "loved" to death. High growth generally brings higher costs such as real estate and taxes. This brings a squeeze on the existing residents, particularly at the lower end of the spectrum. Then you also get to deal with the added traffic, congestion and pollution.
I used to live in a county that built 50,000 homes each year. That didn't count the apartments. I just visited two weeks ago and there was a brown cloud hiding the mountains and the traffic was horrible. Throw in some woke politics and voila! You have seen the effects first hand.
I would suggest moving away from large metro areas, particularly if they're blue run. If you need to work, however, sometimes that is where the money jobs are. If you can work from home, that is a plus. More rural areas tend to be more red, costs lower and guns tend to be in honest citizen's hands. Live below your means, safely invest what you can and keep your gun skills up.

A short recent article about a few Michigan Democratic leaders who want to impose a 10 round limitation on commonly owned firearm magazines due to a very sad tragedy on December 1st 2021 with four Oxford Michigan highschoolers deaths with seven other people injured. Is another possible infringement to our 2nd Amendment. Gifford's Law Center made comment:

I say we just make shooting people illegal if all you need is a good law

If you are speaking of A2 laws, I get it; but overall more free than when??

that's not going to stop someone, who had/has access to the gun in the first place, to find more magazines, and pre-load them. i am not sure of how many magazines the "average homeowner" has to any of us here, but if that gun owner has several guns, it's a sure bet he also has several mags as well.

the kid will just take all he can find.

just wait and see. maybe "they" will not only limit the mag capacity, "they" may also limit the number of mags that a person can own too....

i "see" registrations of everything, guns, mags, ammo, up to a special license to purchase all those items, in the near future.

dick durbin, lauren underwood and governor flinstone has been threating us with that for a long time.
Thank God we have the Illinois Rifle Association and their lobbyist working for us.
Don't forget Tammy Duckworth.
She's as bad as they come.

Good news for Michigan residents:
Recently got an email about the 10 round limitation, it failed to pick up steam. Was dropped and was pulled out of consideration.
