The irony is that Lightfoot was complaining that they weren't notified about the bus loads that showed up from Texas. But then her and Pritzer sent the people on a bus to the other city and DID NOT notify the Mayor of that city they were coming. Talk about hypocrites .....The so called "sanctuary city" chiraq is now transferring all the illegal aliens Texas is sending to other cities because their social services are "taxed". What a crock of!!!

Yes we are full of hypocrites here in the state of Illinois. Actually in the beginning Chicago was in Wisconsin, Wisconsin gave us they upper half of the state so Illinois would have a direct access to lake Michigan. I bet those in Wisconsin are breathing a HUGE sigh of relief today.

Just heard on the news that two bus loads of immigrants were sent from Texas to, and dropped off at the private residence of VP Kamala Harris in Washington DC. This in response to VP KH’s statement that the border is secured.

If the people are so ignorant they can't see what these morons have done to the city AND re-elect them... then so be it.
The bad part of that is ... what they do up there ( especially by voting ) affects the whole state. A few years back we had a Governor ( Quinn ) elected by winning just 3 counties of Illinois. That's out of a total of 102.

Little by little. The collar counties around cook (or if you like, crook county) which Chicago is part of. Are becoming democratic. I lived in DuPage County, which is next to cook county, for years. It was totally republican forever. Not anymore. With cook & the collar counties included. The rest of the state could go 100% for republican and still loose. I believe in reality it's not about voting anymore. The state is bought and paid for. The current governor, Pritzker is planning on running for president. I'll bet you 10 to1 the present mayor of Chicago gets re-elected.
