latest variant of the popular 590 shockwave line.

favorite line from the article - "While I have no way to quantify or prove it, the 590 Nightstick is the best version of the Shockwave. It shoots faster, is more accurate, cures headaches, and will make you popular with the opposite sex. Ok, none of that is true, yet the gun is undeniably good-looking."

I'll wait to see how they run with the mini 12ga rounds. It would be a real shame if they won't.
Get one of the Mossberg 590S models (yes they make a 590S Shockwave model too). With the 590S, you don't need and adapter as it was designed to fire the mini shells intermixed with other lenght shells. I've included a link to a Mossberg article on the testing of mini shell loads with the Mossberg 590S.

Thank you! That's great information. I may start out with putting an adapter on an inherited 590S that has a pistol grip on it. It's nice to see they're putting out info on their testing. Much appreciated.

No problem FN. If you have a model 590S, it seems that an adapter isn't even necessary. Other models like a 500, 590 (with out the M) etc., would require an adapter.
In a 590M (which is Mossberg's detachable magazine models), I don't think can even shoot the mini shells. So my 590M Shockwave is out of luck for them :)unsure: unless I buy a 590M shockwave :sneaky:).
