Murdered for a Pizza in Milwaukee

A few years back I was in Milwaukee for a meeting downtown & looking out my hotel room at night the street below looked like a melee of street trash. Fortunately, the meeting was just across the nearby bridge & I got back & forth OK, but never went out at night.

I was glad to get the hell out of that town quickly when the meeting was over.

Hi,

Feral youth from a violent subculture. So many lives ruined in one violent moment. Stay heeled my friends

Tragic. Unnecessary. Avoidable. I heard about this on the local news last week. I usually carry even in my own home.

Thank you for your indulgence,

BassCliff

A scant two or three years ago I thought how ridiculous that statement was. Just proves how stupid I am. Here I sit today with the roscoe in my pocket. I live within a mile of where I grew up. The home I grew up in, the door was held closed by friction. No latch, no lock. Later Dad built a new house, with door latch. left the key in the handle till it corroded in the lock. My parents and neighbors would leave home hours at a time and leave the door open. Not closed and unlocked but wide open. Never worried about wild animals going in. The dogs took care of that, though sometimes you would find an extra dog or two. The world is going to hell in a hand basket.

I say give them the death penalty. It's the only thing they understand. Maybe
4 things

1) Wisconsin does not have the death penalty

2) decades ago, long before i got my CCW, when i called for a pizza delivery, i told the employee, "deliver to the rear door, and ring the doorbell"

i was told at night, they don't have thier drivers go into any rear doors......i can understand that.

3) i very often carry my gun in my home as well, and anytime i get a pizza delivery at night.??

i am standing outside waiting for it to come

4) ANY delivery i get or ANY service tech or repairman coming to my home? i got that Hellcat by my side.

not anticipating any trouble, but no neighborhood is really safe anymore.

I know exactly what you mean.
Five years ago I spent 29 days in the University of Chicago Hospital in Hyde Park, being on the top floor, every night I seen ghetto trash on the streets and constant blue lights speeding across the neighborhood.
Happiness was seeing that neighborhood in the rear view mirror....

Must be universal. Barnes Jewish is one of the premiere hospitals in the country. The waiting room looks like a crack den and staring out any window you get a nice view of the thug life.

I have had so many folks say they shop at a local retail store because it's safe, so many folks carry. The other day I was there and several folks had their service dogs-as I did. I came home and asked my gun defense attorney-A.O.R. if there was an incident and I was taken in for questioning-etc. could my service dog come along. I have seen service dogs even in the E.R. A service dog that is under Federal law to go anywhere can't go to the P.D. Any comments?

the problem here and maybe elsewhere, is that some people take advantage of the "service dog/animal" moniker, and take any dog inside a store, eatery, whatever, with them.

all that is needed is a "service animal" vest wrapped around the dog/animal, and the stores have to let them in and NEVER question the authenticity of the person, or the animal....and those "service animal" vests can be bought nearly anywhere. what proof is required to buy one..?? NONE..!!

Amazon, Chewy, PETCO, and others have them......so...ANYONE can just walk in and buy one, even for thier dammed Iguana.....to me that is BS..!!!!!!

one should have a serialized permit number that they must obtain along with a doctors letter thru thier state of residence, that MUST be entered into the purchase for the sale to go thru.

frankly, to me, that is BS.......to just be able to buy one with out any sort of permit.

there ought to be some sort of visible permit the owner MUST have and MUST adhere to when asked or demanded to present that permit, if they do not have it in full view.

it sickens me what some people get away with.

as this makes a mockery out of those (like YOU) that really NEED a service animal.....

disabled people MUST get a doctors letter to be able to get a handicapped parking permit, bus pass, why not also for a so-called service animal..????

I cannot imagine any PD having a policy that prohibits legitimate service dogs.
