After debating what I should get for the new year I finally made a choice. I have always wanted a Colt 1911 But always felt they were out of my price range. My LGS says I have one you might like. It was in his personal collection and never fired. He said he got it from the NRA a few years back. After inspecting it and wondering what the cost would be he gave me a very fair price and now it is mine! It's a Colt Competition in 45 ACP. I am very happy with it and will take it out for its maiden voyage next week once I clean and lube her up. I hope she shoots as good as she looks!

A beautiful example of the gunmakers art.
