My first Striker fired pistol

Good morning y’all ☕
After doing a lot of research ( watching videos and reading reviews) I decided to purchase a Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F.
I used the Firstline Program that SA offers to First Responders and Military personnel and saved Big Time! It’s also very convenient. The gun will be shipped to a Mom and Pop gun store only 4 miles from my house.
This is the first Striker fired pistol that I’ll own. The first one I ever fired was a Glock 17. That was 15 years ago. I just couldn’t get use to the spongy trigger.
More to follow on my opinion once I get it out to the range and run a few hundred rounds through it🪖

Congratulations on your purchase! I have an Echelon 4.5 and I love how it shoots. I have a very small hand though and after about 50 rounds or so it hurts a bone in my hand...still working on a solution for that because I really like the gun. I'm pretty sure you'll like the shoot. Enjoy!!

I’ve got big hands so I should be good to go. I hope you find a solution to your issue with the grip

@belladonna Get rid of the bone. They call me a problem solver. 👍
🤣 🤣🤣 Or if I could pulverize it or something, lol!, Nah, I am working on my grip with it, jiggering it around each time, using a glove sometimes, stuff like that. My little brain kinda wants to shave a little off of the inside right of the grip, but I would never deface a gun like that and besides, it would void the warranty anyway. It's just a challenge I have to work with.

I did. But I’m not sure how they would alter where that bone gets pressure. They’re not expensive so I would be worth playing with.

too bad at this point and time, there is no frame replacements as like WIlson for the Sigs...it was way better fit and feel with the WIlson Sig P320 frame over the original, and not expensive at around $80.

maybe a more comfortable frame will be available soon.

actually, they do..??

I got tired waiting for a OD green small to come back in stock, so I bought a black one. It helped a bit but I still get a 50 round pain. Now if they were to produce a XS one... but I know that won't happen, so the quest continues.
