Good morning y’all️
After doing a lot of research ( watching videos and reading reviews) I decided to purchase a Springfield Armory Echelon 4.5F.
I used the Firstline Program that SA offers to First Responders and Military personnel and saved Big Time! It’s also very convenient. The gun will be shipped to a Mom and Pop gun store only 4 miles from my house.
This is the first Striker fired pistol that I’ll own. The first one I ever fired was a Glock 17. That was 15 years ago. I just couldn’t get use to the spongy trigger.
More to follow on my opinion once I get it out to the range and run a few hundred rounds through it![]()
don't knock till you try it. i sometimes shoot lefty. good thing to know how to shoot weak hand. i have an advantage in that i am left eye dominant and shoot long guns lefty, so i have plenty of left finger trigger time in. Actually, if i take my time i shoot better left handed. go figure, i'm that "special guy at the range".Maybe learn to shoot leftie??![]()
Shake the couch and maybe an M1A will drop out.I actually found a VP9 that I forgot I had yesterday! Life is good!
Kinda cool, actually!I actually found a VP9 that I forgot I had yesterday! Life is good!
HK’s are sterile…….Kinda cool, actually!I'm kind of hoping mine would multiply in my safe, but so far no joy..
Barry White and a nice Merlot.... then, you wait.Kinda cool, actually!I'm kind of hoping mine would multiply in my safe, but so far no joy..

my rock has internet. i know what's going on out there. now, get off my rock!
ThanksHi,
Congratulations! I recently picked up the comped version of the Echelon 4.5F. I like everything about this pistol. Are you also eligible for the "gear-up" offer? You can get three magazines and an optic for free.
My large frame version is definitely large. I have fairly large hands but the large backstrap for the grip was too much. I went back to the medium grip and will probably try the small one, just to be sure which is the best fit. I'm sure you're going to love your first striker fired pistol.
Thank you for your indulgence,
BassCliff
I found the link to the site. My pistol should be available to pick up next week.Hi,

Once I get it I can gather all the information required to qualify for the free gear. Again, thanks for the heads up.
Hmmmmm. Interesting.
Thanks. It’s worth a tryHi,
There ya go! On the website, enter the serial number, some personal information, upload a copy of the receipt, etc, and they will tell you to allow 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. I got mine in about 4 weeks. Start here...

The only thing, it says this can't be used with any other SA promotion. So I'm not sure if the First Line promo is a disqualifier. I'm sure they'll let you know once you enter the serial number. Fingers crossed.
