My NEW Emissary...!!!!

ok, i went to my club, and took the new Emissary, along with 1 box of 100, Winchester white box, 230 gr, FMJ

also, i took 1 box of S&B 230 gr, FMJ.

the gun runs F-L-A-W-L-E-S-S-L-Y.....

NO failure to feed

NO failure to extract

NO failure to eject.

it shoots like a 1911, and of course, it looks a bit different

the squared trigger guard IS NOT an issue for me.

the grips are very good, and being "slim", they allowed me to get a greater grip

the checkering is "aggressive" and feels good.

i am posting ALL the targets that i used.

starting at #1....

then 1 paper plate...which was last, at again, 25 feet away.

at the club, we have to set the targets at 25 feet, which is roughly 8+ yards.

i normally shoot at the public range, at 7 yards

i think it's a darn fine 1911. as i mentioned, my first with the picatinny rail.

i wonder how long they will stay in the display case at the LGS's......?

would have been "nice", if there was a special lower, "introductory price", for a limited time.

i'll be closing up that grouping soon, like all my other 1911's.

one more visit to the range with the new Emissary.

50 rds, reloaded ammo, 7 yards away (public range)

now, as all my other guns in my "mini collection", the Emissary will be in rotation to get to the range, in 1-2 months from now.

i let 2 of the RSO's take a full magazine each, and "try it", as well as 2 other members at the range.

everyone had good things to say about the feel, fit, weight, shooting of this gun..

so glad i grabbed it, when it was the only one out of 2, that had arrived at the LGS, last week.

went there again today, (for some ammo) they had none as far as any more in stock.

if i "could see" the target that far away..!!!!

i was "lucky enough" the day of my CCW qualification to score 252 out of 300 at the required 25 yard distance.
