Ditch the muzzle brake for another less thunderous device.
You’ll thank me later. Brake is great for items on the run, but fellow friends next to you will hate you.
If your solo hunting, unless your after hogs on the run, the brake isnt necessary.
Does it work as intended : yes
Is it obnoxious: yes

Definitely planning on modifying the hell out of this. And that’s one of the first things on the list.

How do you remove the muzzle break on this rifle? None of my tools fit it.

If it is the standard brake from SA, then you just need a good bench vise, (dont scratch the barrel, wrap it or use a barrel vise)
Use a good quality Armorers tool that has both 5.56 and .308 size cut outs. The cheap ones just have the 5.56 size
Like a Wheeler AR Combo tool

If you dont have one use a good wrench

I see your standard brake in your OP pic.
Good armorers tool will have size to get it off
