Only tried drugs a couple of times in my life. Once or twice, I smoked pot as a teenager. It really didn't do anything for me. Stuck with beer. Once in the Army, I tried a hit of acid. I don't really recall what it did to me, but was just too worried about getting caught, so I never did it again. And with all my careers over the years requiring drug testing, I just never did any kind of illegal drugs again. Now alcohol is a different story. There is a reason my nickname used to be Otis...

I haven't done recreational drugs in 13 years and that was pot. Hard drugs it's been over 25 years. Bassbob wasn't always the model citizen you see before you today.

Believe it or not, I am almost 60 years old and have never even smoked pot. Didn't drink until I was like 25 and had been married two years. I think there is a lesson in there somewhere. Tried beer in college, didn't like it so I thought "Oh, I don't drink". Then one night at the Salina Country Club my Father In Law was holding Court with several of his friends and ordered a round of single malt for the table. Mothers Milk! For the next 25 years one rarely saw me without a Scotch in my hand. But never strayed to drugs. They scare me and I am not afraid of anything.
