Some ammo and firearms just don't work well together.Yes sir all factory ammo one is saasilmaz, another is Phoenix ms, and Adrenaline! I shot three mags of Winchester carry loads , but the squib was a target load. And yes I guess it was a boning up / wake up that it happens. My wife and I thought back and it was in 1980 something my last squib and it was her gun . The Fiocchi I'll run in my glock or Ruger. I have also checked the barrel and shot about 120 rounds and everything is working fine so I believe your right
Glad all is fine now, I never thought of a squib round, Winchester WB I know has been good for that,
This is where we disagree, I quite using Winchester WB all together, I had many issues with it in .38 special, and some .45. Misfires, out of spec OAL, light loads, squibs. This happen to me more then any other brand, my sheriffs dept quite using it for the deputies practice ammo, which they supplied. This is fact on my account and not internet land here. Don’t forget what is on the internet is true….WWB is no more prone to squibs than any other manufacturer. Except in internet land.
All good Anni, I just have had a totally different experience with it. The Browning and Federal 230 gr. is always cheaper than the white box so I am not the only one using it. Never once had a problem with it and I couldn't even begin to count the cases of that stuff I have went through over the years. This is where we disagree, I quite using Winchester WB all together, I had many issues with it in .38 special, and some .45. All good here also Bob, I don’t believe all that crap either on ammo issues unless I have first hand experience with it, the deputies was having all kinds of trouble with it in .45, mostly out of spec, they switched to Federal after that. Me, my .357 revolver was having low sounding shots, or little or no recoil with there 130gr fmc 38spec, switched to new Fiocchi now, so far so goodAll good Anni, I just have had a totally different experience with it. I really only shoot the 230gr. I have a couple WWB in 124 gr. NATO but most of the 9 I shoot is Blazer Brass or Federal. Back in the day, before I was reloading it I shot some WWB in my .44. Not a whole lot though. Usually federal there. It just seemed like for years and years the thing that was most available in 230 gr. .45ACP was WWB and I went through tons of it. Still have tons of it.All good here also Bob, I don’t believe all that crap either on ammo issues unless I have first hand experience with it, the deputies was having all kinds of trouble with it in .45, mostly out of spec, they switched to Federal after that.
