Plus two, hundred round boxes of CCI Green Tag competition 40 grain 22 LR.

Best part was, it was an even trade......

Let us know how it shoots. I was on the fence about picking one up a while ago. Nice looking rifle.

I've handled this one, an easy dozen times in the last two months, yesterday I decided to give what I had a look and roll with it.
The scope came with it, a Viridian EON 3-9×40. I had never heard of them until this rifle came along, but it's crazy clear, has a decent reticle, and saved me the trouble of deciding on glass.

Didn’t know shops took ammo, none of mine will take any ammo in trade or giving it to them free…..good deal you got……

The shop I do most of my business with owned and operated by some great folks.
I've traded new in the box ammo, as well as loose ammo in this case, and this case was a special one, every round was the same head stamp, and clean, well a little dusty, but clean.

I've been doing business with them for 18 years............(didn't think it was that long until now)

Made the first range trip this morning.

Rifle shoots great, but the Viridian 3-9×40 is not proving to be as great an added accessory as it seemed.

It's fixed focus, so in close, the target is WAY out of focus.

But the jury is still out as far as that goes.

Got out to the range again earlier today.

The Viridian is showing that it's more of a "flashy" extra than a truly useful addition.

At 9 power, eye relief is tenuous, but that's where the reticle is set for use for holdover, and Kentucky windage.

The rifle is plenty accurate, the target was at fifty yards, and shot using CCI Target ammo. There's two holes touching, and three spread out, but it was shot in a high/gusty wind pivoting from No Value to Half Value.

And I replaced the supplied muzzle thread protector with a three prong M16 flash hider.......
It looks pretty cool sporting it....
