Thanks Lchtus. They also had non Performance Center Sheild Plus(es) with and without safeties. I liked the trigger better on the Performance Center model, but unfortunately they didn't have any that were optics ready or that came with the Crimson Trace optic. Kind of when I bought my non OSP Hellcat (after which I several OSP versions available, which is the way my luck usually runs).
aaaaaand thank you for spending my money. I just ordered a performance center (mode 13254 w/ green red sights and ported barrel). Shoot point blank has a ton in stock online and they are running some side discounts “walked out” online for 600 (PM me for details).
my first SW. hope they are as good and reliable as they say given there are millions of shields out there. Seems plus has compatibility with older models with holsters and such as well which is nice.
Your more than welcome Lchtus. This is my 5th shield, and I really like them. I got model 13252 (red/green sights, no safety, no ported barrel), as it was the only PC model the LGS had. It fits my crossbreed holster for my 45 PC V1 Shield just fine.aaaaaand thank you for spending my money. I just ordered a performance center (mode 13254 w/ green red sights and ported barrel). Thank you. I had not even researched that yet. I have a couple CT and like the grip turn on. Would be great if they did that for a light as well now that I am typing it. The o lights are pretty nice but the grip laser is great. Which one do you use. The below?A little advice for you and @BET7 if I may. I have experience with Shields and CT lasers. My .45 has the integrated red laser and I put a Laserguard on my dad's EZ .380. My advice is skip the integrated laser. The on/off button is just slightly a stretch for your trigger finger and in a SD/HD situation the odds of it ever getting turned on are slim to none. Unless you're in your bedroom and hear something far enough away that you have the time and the thought to turn it on.
The Laserguard mounts against the trigger guard and looks like it is part of the gun. Your middle finger lands naturally on the on/off button so when you hold the gun it automatically comes on. It's like a pressure switch. When you're on the grip it's on, when you aren't on the grip it's off. And it's reasonably priced, easy to install and you can register with CT for free batteries for life.
Haha @BET7 thank you for the tip on crossbreed as well I run that with my hellcat so was looking at holsters as well.Your more than welcome Lchtus. This is my 5th shield, and I really like them. Good info Bob, thanks. I have 5 shields now (V1 shield w/apex trigger, 9,40 & 45 PC V1 shields w/ported barrel & night sights, and this new PC shield plus). Before the hellcat, I carried the shield 45 and liked it a lot. I’ve never put any lasers on them, but I may look into this. Most of my nightstand guns are larger (Glock g21, S&W M&P 2.0 9mm), shotguns (nightstick & TAC 14), 300 bo pistol, CZ scorpion micro 9mm, etc.A little advice for you and @BET7 if I may.
