Is Springfield going to come out with the 3.8" barrel for the Hellcat to convert the older Hellcat to the RDP model?

Sorry to say, Springfield doesn’t sell gun parts, you might have to look at the after market for something like this.
Isn't too surprising in some ways? Timing's everything sometimes? Many things are a balance currently. Right now, with various widespread shortages here, there and most everywhere, many things are a bit off kilter including many raw materials. Heard a US embargo was lifted on European steel and aluminum recently, so that may help somewhat, but when, where and how?
Springfield hasn't offered many firearms parts like barrels or slides or custom services to general public in quite a while. Am sure there's a good reason for that, but times are changing here and there too? Increased firearms sales and needs may be one reason to resume that function? But, with other negatives and up in the air things in the firearms world going on at the same time. it can be hard saying what can happen when if ever?
Some of the up in the air things are in the political and judicial systems in place now that could go either way at times? Should know some more on that in a month or so? Court will be in session very soon. Guess, simple isn't always so simple sometimes? Fortunately, some SA type, style barrels, slides and some other firearm needs are available from some aftermarket suppliers. May need to scour forums and the WEB pages for info to locate, but there's some good workable parts available here and there elsewhere.
