New Jersey possible gun control coming...

Lunch-bucket Social Standing Points Program...membership automatic and cannot be waived. We are probably under some discreet program and don’t even know it. They know plenty from your credit card purchases to your immunizations, your cable tv viewing and your fossil fuel consumption.

Will “insurance” become mandatory like driving ? Driving, with a valid DL is a privilege, not a Constitutional Right. Take a test, demonstrate and ability to actually drive, pay a fee, get a DL, oh and have insurance - but we won’t check and demand proof when time comes to renew or buy another car/truck/bus.
If you want a firearm…well, you how.

Recall how they like to claim inequities affect some folks, some not being able to afford all sorts of things, but they don’t make excuses for anyone that can’t afford minimal automobile insurance coverage.
IL already requires ID’s, fees and collects taxes just to own a firearm. Some pols suggested this sort of insurance deal and found the idea wouldn't be beneficial for votes. Any hardworking law abiding folk with something of value is at risk to lose, so they’re going to buy insurance. All others don't (e.g. criminals) or others that can’t afford another mandated expense for something that may just sit unused.
Demanding insurance (legislative insider opportunists in waiting) only enriches the Company and they pay out little depending on the coverage tier and circumstances. Sort of like mandating health insurance, we all know how that turned out…subsidies for some but not for all, and those premium prices still skyrocketing.

This is another (D) hurdle and attempt to challenge the 2A.

i don't think it really matters anymore. the anti-gun people as Colion Noir would say, "they are relentless and will keep on trying", (or words to that effect).

every election, all registered voters MUST get to the polls and vote out the progressives (worse than democrats) and the anti-gun democrats.

(there are quite a few pro 2A democrats in my state) as i'd imagine in other states as well.

bottom line, if we want our rights preserved, we MUST get out and vote the pro 2A politicians, each and every time.

just the other night, (on a televised debate) a republican in my state running for congress, has said, "we need to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill and criminals, NOT the law abiding citizens".

that's the true focus, the mentally ill AND the criminals....!!!!!!!

New Jersey - the junkyard state, suburb of New York City.
I was born and raised there. At 18, I was out of there like a shot and never looked back.

sad part is that i am a jersey boy through and through. born and raised here. i used to love it here and defend its "armpit of the world" reputation. there are a lot of beautiful places here and we're a different breed here altogether. nowadays, i am just fed up with the continued slide of the sleazebags in trenton and the, "we can get blood from a stone, no problem" approach to taxes. i can't afford to live here anymore. throw on top of that trenton's obsession with pandering to the "protected classes" and hindering the 2a and it becomes unlivable.

Mike, you have an official invitation to move to Texas. The proceeds from your 40 x 80 lot and home will buy you a nice house on at least an acre. The move will be paid for in the first year due to no state income tax. You will be 15 minutes from the nearest shooting range and barbecue joint. We will even take you to the feed store and get you a proper hat, shirt, boots and jeans!
However, I do recommend you sell your car in Jersey and buy a proper full size pickup before you arrive. Trucks are cheaper in the Northeast. You can get the gun rack here.
