Oh it was the guns. Every old GI Colt 1911 I've ever had rattles. They shoot fine. Some of them didn't shoot that straight, but you just figure out how they shoot and compensate. You sure it was the guns????

Years ago we had a Nissan Sentra, every time we went out I kept hearing this noise from the car, but only when she was in the car, this went on for awhile, so me and my mouth one day asked her, are you shaking your head over there, I only hear that noise when your in the car……we’ll open mouth insert foot fits here……seriously it turned out to be the passenger seat bracket was broke….Oh it was the guns. what size wrench did you use to adjust the overtravel screw? i cant seem to find a correct size.Just had my first range day with my 5” Prodigy. I worked the slide 1000 times before the first range day. Cleaned and lubed the gun. Measured the trigger pull out of the box at a clean 4#. I did adjust the over travel several turns. Shot flawlessly 150 rds. Took it home cleaned it and put in an 18# hammer spring and changed recoil to an 8#. Barely tweaked the sear spring. Put back together and WOW! Trigger is now very clean 2 3/4#. Back to the range tomorrow. Very happy with the Prodigy. Will save the round count on my X5 Legion.
