New to The Armory Life

Hello everyone. I am new here. I just bought my first XDM and it is the elite 9mm FDE with 4.5" threaded barrel. Very fun fun to shoot, great control and easy to acquire target quickly.
My question would be, how did you find ammo? Welcome by the way! I don't have the elite, but have the xdm in 10mm and 40s&w precision. Your model looks awesome and wish it was made in 10mm.

Hi Jason,

I'm a newbie to the forum as well. From the Dallas, TX area. I hope to become a first-time gun owner in the next few days. My friends all swear by their XD-M 4.5" and XD-M 3.8" pistols. They say the workmanship, build quality, and "feel" are all fantastic. Looking forward to starting at the top!

Welcome to the forum and to the 2A community!

You won't be disappointed with either of those pistols!

Welcome neighbor, I’m in Sachse, TX

10mm & Wirenut,

Thanks for the warm welcome. If I had to say right now, I'm probably going to purchase the XD-M 4.5" version.

One thing that's bothersome about this shopping and fact finding process is the lack of specific descriptions of "What's in the box?" What's included when you buy this? And that's true for the manufacturer, box house, and broker sites, too.

Oh well, just part of learning I guess. It's making me hunt and peck all over so it's not all bad.

Best to ya both,

[EDIT] - Let me add an additional thanks to my "neighbor" Michael.Ed! Howdy neighbor from Allen.

John
