New tool, or toy...

I've seen something similar on the end of a long pole for pruning trees, obviously for branches out of reach. Which this doesn't look like it would be too easy to attach to a pole.

For general yard work on a one acre yard, I have had

Gas Weed Wacker and Electric Weed Wacker -> Electric FTW
Gas Chain Saw and Electric Chain Saw -> Electric FTW (small sized chain saw 16"-18", not a small pruner chain saw)
Gas Push Mower and Electric Battery Push Mower -? Gas FTW

This is for yard work on a typical home with trees around the yard. NOT a ranch or forestry or professional use...

Weed Wacker and Chain Saws for light yard work use, how troublesome the gas motors get and how difficult they can be to start, electric is easier and is more than powerful enough to do the job.

Push Lawn Mowers, the technology is not there yet, they are lower power and even with two battery's you'll run out and be waiting on charging before finishing the yard. They work for light duty conditions, but you yard is large or you let the grass get to long, you will be suffering and the job will take twice as long.

It has to be battery I can't imagine trying to cut the lawn dragging an extension cord behind me, and it would require an extension cord more expensive that 2 battery's easily.

I have 2 pole saws. An electric made by Remington and a gas Stihl. They extend about 14' and they do get heavy. Mostly because they require some leverage to cut efficiently. I doubt very seriously many batteries could hang with a pole saw for very long.

My wife just gave me my latest tool, got to say it sure looks like a toy. She thought I needed a 6 inch battery powered chainsaw...

Never having seen one I indeed thought it might be a toy. But she had plans for it. She wanted a couple shrubs cut down by her parents head stone. Saying I was impressed with it might just be an understatement. This little thing is a beast. It cut them down and up in minutes. I have plans for you lil chainsaw lol...
Really nice tool I want one
