I don't have this pistol (yet) but looking at the parts diagram in the manual I would probably replace the Loaded Chamber indicator part as well as the spring. I can't see the part clearly in the manual but it appears something on it should be holding the spring in place but isn't doing it's job properly.
Just thinking out loud here. Good luck figuring it out.
