My curiosity got the best of me, I checked our infamous “Roster” only to find that Canik’s are only allowed for Law Enforcement personnel. The Canik MC9 is flavor of the month right now, but virtually no one recommends the Hellcat outside of this forum. FWIW, the Canik lives up to the hype.
There should be a rule that any gun brand that starts with CA is good to go!My curiosity got the best of me, I checked our infamous “Roster” only to find that Canik’s are only allowed for Law Enforcement personnel.
Just one more reason pushing me out the door.
I looked at a TX22 side-by-side with it.I was surprised when I got my P322 because I expected my TX22 Competition with a comp on it to smoke the Sig particularly because the P322 is so light. They went blow for blow. Even at 25 yds. My TX22 doesn’t even recoil, it’s almost comical, but the P322 acquired itself well. I also ran 600 rds through it without once cleaning and it never once faltered. Oddly enough, I cleaned it, put it back in the case and never used it again. It never got used at all last year. It’s going to get moved along this year.
I had the TX 22 originally - put Tandemkross fiber optic sights on it. I liked it - great 22LR option.I looked at a TX22 side-by-side with it.
The TX22 had a slightly lighter trigger, but…the optics package, and the fact that the 322 pointed incredibly naturally (raised the pistol to aim at a mounted deer’s eye, and the pistol just went RIGHT THERE) sealed the deal for me.
That, and…Sig vs Taurus. I’m enough of a brand snob for that to matter.
