Well i can say that Rost Martin has some excellent customer service. I emailed them about the broken recoil rod and within 30 minutes a guy calls me and gets my address to send me a new one and a hat. can’t ask for no better than that.

Sounds like you had a very fun, if somewhat punishing, day at the range. Great shooting! I need to get my Mav88 out to the range. I still haven't shot it yet. Shame on me.

I shot a few low brass bird shot through it to kinds move the sights close. they didn't have hardly any recoil. i can imagine the 3 inch slugs being painful. lol

Brother, I’m not the hulk or anything but I can handle heavy recoil and I’ve shot a few shotguns in my day. I’m telling you my KSG25 is the most brutal recoiling shotgun with slugs I’ve ever shot. I’d estimate at least 20% worse than a Mossberg 500 or Rem 870.

The hardest recoiling shotgun i have is a Mossberg 835 with 3 1/2 inch turkey loads.
