A quick heads-up for fans, the program returns from summer break on TCM tonight, followed by the customary encore on Sunday morning. Until then. . ."see you in the shadows."

I had my AT&T Uverse dvr box fizzle out which had quite a few noir classics stored on it just for the summer Noir Alley hiatus, lost hours of recordings when I got the new box.
But…
I did however fill the void with a variety of other classics and a well appreciated encore of Alicia Malone here and there. Va-va-vooom !

with the way cable tv repeats movies over and over again, you will get them back.

hell just this week alone, "Casino" has been on every stinking day (at different times)

as much as I LOVE Mob movies, i can't watch it anymore till Christmas time..

however, "Basic" with Sharon Stone, in the interrogation room...???

man, i must have that recorded so many times, i cannot record a 3 second commercial.

I totally get the sentiment about "Casino" being on repeat. Sometimes, even beloved movies can become overwhelming with too much exposure.
