Boycott the wEA test. Let them see that a whole lot of phones weren't reached when they view the data.

Um, yeah will get right on that. Cause obviously a test of the emergency broadcast system is such a terrible thing.

Had these things all the time on TV when I was a kid, don't remember them triggering off a mess of hypnotised Russian sleeper mole killers. Oh wait that's a movie with Charles Bronson...


Now those damn amber alerts at 2:39 am that make me levitate in my bed , now those I could do without... but, good for kidnapped kids etc. so ok.

i'll be napping...........i had a very busy morning, and i am cooling down now..

i had to reapply roofing tar to a tin roof...TWICE..leaning out the window, cuz i cannot climb ladders....

i had to take apart and wash out the dryer vent flex hose, and clean out the flapper valve

i washed my car.

i helped the Mrs take in the groceries.

now after i cool down a bit more, i am going to shower, eat lunch, take nap, then maybe vacuum up all the carpets, cuz tomorrow, have to shampoo all 5 rooms.............

then take another nap....tomorrow, after i take another shower, after i shampooed all those carpets.

so the DANG PHONE WILL BE OFF TODAY...........!!!!!!!!!

Where I'm from we had sirens every Wednesday to remind us that the Soviets are capable of stepping their boundaries and funky particles that make you glow in the dark might fall from the sky. Fun times :D

yeah, the fire station up the street from us, had a huge siren on the roof, it was a flat roof at the time in fact. now it is a normal pitched roof.

and yes, although i cannot remember when they sounded that siren, but it could be heard for quite a distance.. as it would rotate, that might have been required back in the day, as i do also seem to recall, all the fire stations had those sirens. they were called "civil defense warning systems" or something like that.

Every Wednesday @ 6:00pm it goes off in town. Kinda clears out the bird's nest

we had the 12 noon siren that would sound off every day from the firehouse in town. we lived about 5 miles away but still heard it clear as a bell. not sure if they do that anymore.

HHMMM...maybe it was noon time here as well, would make a lot of sense, back then in grade school we had "recess"...and went home for lunch.

little would i know back then, that it was my future....."recess hairline"

i think too, that's when my nap time started, back in school days......eat lunch, take nap, miss afternoon class.
