Nothing hurts worse than....

Whoa...and here I thought that the sciatica I went through last May was awful. No relief. Had to just wait for it to pass. Pain meds didn't touch it. Now I reach back and remember a particular molar that went on me up in Canada and I do agree that nothing is worse than that kind of tooth pain. I hope you get to a good dentist and it is not too severe. Sending thoughts and prayers for speedy relief!
 
I will undergo oral surgery at the end of this month to extract what's left of two molars that had previous root canals and crowns decades ago. Both of the crowns broke off within 6 months of each other... there isn't enough root left to attach new crowns, so I will have implants installed later this year to replace them.

If you are a teeth grinder or clencher be sure to get yourself a nightguard when you get those implants. I learned that the hard way. Expensive lesson!
I too have had kidney stones for the last 30 years and tooth pain is right up there with it.
Also, If you have hip or knee replacements tooth and gum infections can lead to some serious results.

true that.....i had to inform my dentist of my back operations, due to all the metal in me. i was told that "sometimes" the teeth cleaning can lead to issues, (bacteria floating around in my system?) so i had to take an antibiotic (Amoxicillin) for like 5 days BEFORE any teeth cleaning.
