I love my OD Green Echelon. It's a flat, sweet shooter and I am glad I bought it. I did have to install a small black grip module because I wanted to shoot the thing this year. Been waiting for a small OD Green for a long time and they're still out of stock. So...who knows if and when? All one can do watch and wait.

As far as I know, it is legal to own a dark green gun in New York. I may be wrong, however, but I just looked it up. I basically want the same thing as the black echelon just in od green with all the New York restrictions.

Does New York allow threaded barrels or is there a buil- in comp version of the Echelon?

So, answered my own question. Yes there is an Echelon Comp version and even though they don’t offer it in OD Green you can buy an OD Green grip module ($64.99) and make your own. Easy.

And a designed in compensator that is not added to the gun is legal in New York State.

What are the handgun restrictions? The Echelon should be compliant already if the only restrictions are mag capacity.
