Officers Down in America

Most have probably seen the video by now, and sadly it had nothing to do with an ambush shooting or any other shooting. But a couple kids in a stolen car actually aiming for and running over a LEO from behind while riding his bicycle. I missed the officer's name and even the location and I'm still having problems even trying to understand this kind of mentality.

My god, what is happening to our kids, our society in general? When two teens in a stolen car will actually drive up behind someone on a bike and actually intentionally run over a human being, all the while laughing ... and videoing the whole damned thing. I won't paint with too wide a brush because they are not all guilty, but this so-called Gen-Z???? I know it's not the whole generation of kids, but so many seem to have absolutely no concern, no compassion, and no empathy for any other human, or society in general. I'm sorry, I just don't understand it.

This thread was intended I think primarily for those killed in the line duty and this instance wasn't quite that situation. So I hope y'all will overlook that little difference and accept this as every bit as important. I'm just sorry I wasn't able to get his name and or location. btw, I think I did hear later from someone that they had arrested the 17 yr old driver of the car. jj

Just heard a little earlier tonight they've arrested the passenger in the car that ran over the LEO (retired Police Chief) while on his bicycle. Turns out he was another 17 yr old and was positively ID'd by tattoos, etc. Also turns out the two had hit another old man earlier that same day they did this one. The earlier one survived. They video'd both while laughing all the way.

There are screams for them to be tried as adults, who knows with the way the system is today. I have a better idea! jj

Feral chldren of a thug culture. I am not the least bit surprised at the savagery and indifference to human life. Here was a man who dedicated his life to others, trying to enjoy retirement, murdered for fun by these worthless pieces of trash. I hope they lock them up for the rest of their lives.
If there was any justice they would be publicly executed in front of their moms and aunties.

Two more officers down since my last post. That makes 41 killed by gunfire this year. Plus 8 more by vehicular assault. 100 total line of duty deaths this year. It has been an especially bad year for Texas and Louisiana.

Two more heroes feloniously killed
