Note: Some others reviewers are suggesting to Ruger/Marlin that they lengthen the chamber to better accommodate the heavy bullet .44 Mag loads offered by some manufacturers. Ruger stated they will evaluate that.

If you don't like the cross bolt safety, you can tighten an allen screw so it won't move on you. At least the old models were that way.
They should have done the .357 first as there is pent up demand for that caliber. Hopefully, they will get those online soon.
Complaining about a non-standard load seems like a cheap shot as was the complaint about the standard sights. The gun is manufactured to a price point and for the most buyers. Feel free to change the sights like many people do with their handguns.

I've got an older JM Model in 357 Magnum. It's a wonderful little rifle. The only change I made was to add an XS sight. I don't like traditional buckhorn sights.

I really loved and now miss my old Marlin 22LR Lever action that I purchased with my own money in 1973 from Galyan's Trading Post in Plainfield, Indiana ... Showing my age here. I do believe it was $52.99 plus tax
