I have thought about doing this... since I am a 10mm guy I'd have to go with the Vector CRB that would take the Glock mags. I have never shot any 10mm other than a pistol, I may go to a rent range and try to rent one and see how I like it.

For near the same price you can get a Mech-Tech for your pistol. Take the slide assembly off snd replace with a complete carbine upper. I have 1 for my g20/40 that runs 100% perfectly and WILLhandle very hot loads! I have another 10mil AR that DOESN'T run as good nor like hot loads.

Interesting idea however they do not make one for my XDM elite 10mm 3.8"
