Hello, this system looks like a fantastic idea. Does anyone know if Springfield plans to expand this system to other models such as the Hellcat or XD?

They haven’t announced any plans as of yet, but they also like to keep their releases close to the vest until it comes time to launch.

Sorry Talyn thanks for the suggestion, this is my first post, so I'm new here, I was referring to the optics mounting system on the echelon

I believe that SA should add this feature to any of their handguns that will accommodate an optic, such as the Hellcat Pro, OSP and RDP models. Looks like it would be a minor design change for those pistols and since they already have the design and plans for the Echelon this would not be a big modification to the Hellcat design, IMHO.

I doubt we'll see the VIS transfer to other models in the near future, but I guess anything is possible.
Who would've thought we'd start seeing ported models from the factory?
