OUR wonderful US mail service

powerboatr

Professional
back on the 30 th of sep i ordered from berrys some 9mm bullets (1k) and 3 ammo boxes.
on the 2nd both packages shipped via us mail from berrys

the 2 packages had one number different in the tracking number
we do informed delivery because our local mail delivery SUCKS beyond SUCK
i am pissed that i didnt ship them UPS or fed ex, but hey you know i was not in a hurry
well
the 3rd both arrived in las vegas, and the 5th they arrived in houston??? why freakign houston when coppell near dfw is the major hub??
so i get an email that the packages would arrive at my home on the 5th YES i said 5th,
then as the day progressed i got an update they would be here the 6th ...yup one box arrived on the 6th, the ammo boxes
but no box with 1k bullets
then i get a email telling me saturday the 7th...sunday arrived and no package, but on line it show sits in dallas again.....
so we started making calls and pissing off USPS customer service
then we get one that it will arrive and is out for delivery for the 10th, well mail lady arrived and no package...
tracking had both packages in same place at almost same time, but for some reason the bullets made a return trip back to DFW??? i think they busted it open and now are screwed because they have bullets all everywhere..

i kid you not as i was talking to her in the driveway i got an email...IN TRANSIT to next facility..what ever that means...today is weds and no body has a freaking clue where my package is,
so i go to see the local post master....guess what ???? she is off today and the clerk is not sure when she will be back...
even though her ugly car is in parking lot .....i think she heard me complaining to the clerk and hid

i called berrys and they are stand up folks, if its not here by monday..they will reship 😍

The USPS is beyond help. I feel your pain. I ordered two items from two different sellers in Oregon, one north, one in the south. Both packages were to be delivered in central Illinois. I wish I could show you the tracking, I kid you not they went to Idaho, Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, back to Ohio, Indiana, then bounced between Chicago and "Fox Valley" wherever the heck that is for 3days. Then to St Louis, Champaign then to my house. They went practically everywhere but Albuquerque New Mexico LoL. Note to self when you order from Oregon they get the United States treatment to see about every state along the way past you then back to you. It was about a 20 day trip. Needless to say one item was broke.

I get the same thing from fed-ex and rarely ups on this back and forth from Houston to DFW (and proximities). If it comes from east of the Mississippi it's worse! USPS has done this to me also. What I can't stand is when they post shipped and it hasn't, only supplied tracking info. Sits that way for a week or more before actual movement.

If it got sent to New Mexico they would have stole it!

I had fedEx shipments that originate from Columbus OH, sent down to Indianapolis IN then up to Milwaukee WI and finally to Chicago IL. Tracking says it will arrive in a day then rescheduled for three days later.
Goofy logistics and it’s all ground shipping and US Mail is no better ... and they can’t figure my they’re losing money.

No paved roads where I live. FedEx won't leave the hard road. Last time. I gotta call saying my package was at their facility, and if I wanted it drive there, 64 miles round trip. I asked why in the bleep did I pay for shipping. They didn't care. UPS & USPS no problem I try to use them when I can. But in Illinois if you ship guns you must use Fed-Ex.

Not only does your package tour the US, they charge you a fortune to send it. I recently bought a used trunk mount luggage rack for my Saturn Sky. Saturn Sky is not a big car, thus the luggage rack is not huge. It measures just over 2'X3'X8" and weighs right around 20 lbs. The seller was selling for $100 shipping included. He went to ship it and UPS wanted $108 to ship it. USPS was just over $100, finally sent it FedEx for $70.

It's just as bad when/if I send an envelope to the same zip code I live in, but get shipped 110 miles away and comes back. What a waste of fuel! If the usps was fully automated we would still be charged more for robots to be in charge! This is just as bad as the school (Texas public school) on leaving the busses run for 6 hours on an out-of-town game! I guess they think it's harder on the starter that would cost more than the wasted fuel? Must cost 20k per bus for a starter?

You got that right! Lived there for 3 years and some of the folks there will steal evidently just for the feeling they get from it. I often thought of leaving a suitcase with a live skunk in it and watching it to see the effects.
The USPS is just a unit of measure in which to gauge the rest of our country's efficiency.

welll...we did have a red gas can stolen when we lived in a trailer park in north bama while our home was being built
but my truck was diesel and i had 3 jugs in front of the camper because the storm named katrina had screwed up fuel in our area
so some dummie stole a red 5 gallon jug fuel of diesel fuel

but this morning now USPS ha MOVED my package withing the giant building at dfw to say it crossed over to depart to my city and deliver tomorrow...
10 bux its not whole or it does not arrive

WHOOOOOO HOOO get the reloading on
finally it arrived this afternoon
such a small package sure did take a trip around DFW, pretty rough looking compared to the others...time to count to 1k

EDIT the internal box was undamaged and these look darn good for seconds. in fact they are almost perfect

i bought them this time to save 20 dollars

i forgot, to say i met the new mail lady at the driveway to get the package,
then she said, are these bullets and i said yes. she asked "like ready to go to the range" and i laughed and said no, these are the items that fly out of the built up cartridge and the she laughed and said sooo you reload and i said yes, and she smiled even bigger and said her too ..... this new lady is better than the last 4 , there is hope for us

i did some work part time, when i was younger in a warehouse. they did not count individual small pieces.

they put a plastic container on a scale.

then zeroed that scale with that container.

they weighed 1 piece.

then recalibrated the scale.

poured in x number of pieces, which then would add up to the final number.

in your case...1,000 pieces.

faster, simpler, and you don't lose count every time the dog, cat, kids, or wife bothers you.
