I must respectfully disagree with the criticism. There are crazy people who should never possess a firearm. The Risk Protection Order law in Florida was going to happen with or without Bondi. I credit Bondi with ensuring strict due process was written into the law. A lot of hurdles need to be overcome to get the judge's order and only LE can apply for the court order. Here is the statute.
As far as bump stocks I could care less. Bumpstocks were a backdoor way to circumvent machinegun prohibitions. I admit I have a personal bias against them as some idiots playing with their bumpstocks shot one of my horses with a stray round and she died of sepsis from the wound. I don't think the courts are done with this one, Supreme Court has declared the federal executive order ban unconstitutional but it still stands in a number of states.
Having watched Bondi over the years I think she is as good as you are going to get for a conservative attorney general.

Yeah, well the guy in the video I posted isn't a fear mongering gun tuber. He just shows the video of Bondi talking about these things. It's plain English she's using. Ignoring facts ( in this case clear and provable facts) because you don't care for the messenger is pretty shortsighted.

I also don't care about bumpstocks, but banning them is still unconstitutional. As is prohibiting 18-21 year olds from buying "Assault weapons". As far as red flag laws, Florida's may be better than most, but it's still unconstitutional and clearly not designed to protect people because if it was the common sense logic is that if someone is too dangerous to have a firearm, they're too dangerous to be running free in society.
My fear about this woman isn't that she's necessarily anti- 2A, but clearly she is willing to "Compromise" with anti-gunners. Like Cornyn did after Uvalde. We're just a school shooting away from some new "Compromise" that will further restrict our rights.
Anyone can splice together a clip if this or a sentence from an e mail or forum and paint a picture.

I'm just saying maybe watch the video before making judgements about who's fear mongering. It's literally videos, in context, of Bondi making press statements regarding her support of new gun control laws in the wake of school shootings while democrats and anti-gun activists are in full attack mode.
I did before I made a comment.
I also followed a lot of the press conferences when the whole Florida red flag and AWB was being thrown around.
She sounded like any other conservative AG to me!

You've seen my posts about the Uvalde school shooting and there was plenty in the environment of the town, LE incompetence, and violation of state mandated school security measures to investigate rather than gun control policy. Yet, it's what the politicians and assorted left wing types including the media jump on. They are protecting their own failed policies which have led to a dystopian society even in small towns. I would be shocked if Cornyn and state officials actually addressed cartel/gang activity and LE proficiency and professionalism instead of going after the 2A.
I just don’t get to worked up on it as Hayes said it was going to happen and she seems to have done her job on ensuring the due process was met and not just anyone could cry wolf certain items and procedures had to be met

I'm under no impression that Trump is some big 2A warrior, but he's a damn sight better for gun owners than Biden or Kamala.
