I stopped watching boxing many years ago, when Ali done the same as Tyson and kept going in his old age, but they kept giving him the fights. he done that rope a dope BS the whole fight in his last three fights and got beat. even knocked down a few time and they still awarded him the fights. the competitors didn't care. it was big money for them. not one complained of getting cheated. pro boxing has become like pro wrasslin. entertainment, nothing more.

My hat is off to the both of them. Paul walks away with @$40 million, Tyson with $20 million. The other fighters had their paydays as well. The whole thing was "The Greatest Show on Earth", and billed as such. Gladiators fighting while Rome burns. If we weren't over at my sister-in-law's house, I never would have watched this. I didn't even realize it was on last night, until I came across it on my newsfeed. Her husband put it on, probably more out of courtesy for me than his interest in it. Same as my interest, but like a car wreck, just have to gawk as you drive by. A 27 year old cannot fight against a 58 year old. If he wins, he just beat an old man. If he loses, he just got beat by an old man. Rant over.

Boxing today has went the way of wrestling-all hype and acting. One of the old real boxers (Ali, Norton, Frazier) would get in the ring with Both of them and still win

99 times out of 100 you have to knock the champion out. Bottom line, either of those women would put a brutal beating on anyone on this forum - including all the former spec ops, martial arts practicing hard men.
